How do I use OnFrontiers to engage my own clients?

OnFrontiers provides consultants with contracting, payment processing, and call hosting features for use with their clients.

  • How much do I have to pay to share my profile publicly?

    • There are no monthly fees or subscription costs for you to share your profile publicly and use OnFrontiers to facilitate your consulting services. It’s free to sign up and use the public profile sharing and engagement features.

  • How much do I get for my hourly engagements and consultations?

    • You set your hourly rate on the platform, and you make exactly the rate that you charge. OnFrontiers facilitation fees are added on top of that as we provide significant value to your clients through the platform as well.
  • How much does OnFrontiers charge on top of my hourly rate?

    • OnFrontiers charges approximately a 30% fee on top of your hourly rate. We also utilize tiered credit pricing and discounts to help encourage your clients to purchase multiple hours with you. As they purchase more credits, the cost per hour decreases.
  • What features does the OnFrontiers platform provide for my customers?

    • On top of sharing your profile and experiences, the OnFrontiers platform provides several features to facilitate your engagement with your clients and provide added value to your clients as well. These include:
      • Contracting and Confidentiality — all engagements between experts and your clients are hosted by our Marketplace Expert Agreement which includes confidentiality, so you can provide assurances that your conversations are private without any need for additional paperwork
      • Payment processing — your clients can purchase credits directly through the OnFrontiers platform using credit cards or bank information. This makes it easy for them to pay you for your time and ensures you get paid quickly.
      • Scheduling and Call Hosting — Your profile allows your clients to schedule time with you for hourly engagements and hosts calls directly via Zoom. No need to pay for additional calendar tools or call-hosting software.
      • Call Recording and Transcripts — On top of hosting the call with your clients, the OnFrontiers platform also provides your clients with a video recording of the call and an NLP transcript which they can review at any time.
  • What if my clients want to hire me directly after our initial hourly engagements?

    • For any clients you bring to OnFrontiers on your own (outside of any custom-match opportunities we introduce you to), there are no restrictions. You’re welcome to continue engaging with your clients through the platform to make use of our contracting features, payment processing, scheduling/ call hosting, call recording, and transcripts. But if it makes sense to move off the platform and work with your clients directly, you’re welcome to do so.
  • Can OnFrontiers help me find new clients?

    • Outside of the public profile sharing and engagement features, OnFrontiers works with many teams and businesses to provide these same engagement features across the organization, as well as custom-matching experts for new opportunities. As a part of the OnFrontiers platform, our team will reach out to you with new opportunities from our federal contracting customers who may be looking for experts like you. When those opportunities arise, it’s up to you whether you want to accept them or not. There are no obligations to respond if you’re already too busy or if they’re not a fit.
