How do I Tag and Organize Experts in my Knowledge Network?

Adding tags to expert profiles allows knowledge networks to be sub-divided into lists defined by their own users

There are 2 quick and easy ways to add tags to expert profiles at OnFrontiers. Read on to find out how.

Important reminder: in order to assign tags to user profiles, first the Account Admin at your company needs to define the pool of tags.

Tagging experts from the search page results

1. Search your Knowledge Network to find experts you want to tag

Once you've found the experts you want to tag, you can start selecting any expert's profile individually or in bulk. Expert selection is held even as you narrow down your search by adding keywords or filters to your search.

The filters will affect the pool of experts returned by the search, but your expert will be kept selected even though she/he is not showing up on the results.

2. Click on 'Add Keyword' and begin typing

As you begin typing, the platform will auto-suggest tags that have been defined by your account Admins. Select the tags you want to add to the experts you've selected

Tagging experts from their own profile

Alternatively, you can also add tags to an expert from their profile. To do that, just open the expert's profile and click on the 'Edit' button right under the bio section, and follow the same steps for adding tags as above.

Use the "Keywords" filter to search your Knowledge Network by company tags

Once you've tagged the experts in your network, all company tags will be visible in dark green on experts' profiles and can be used to filter your search results. Anyone across the company can filter the experts using the pre-defined Keyword tags.
